For Emily, much of her learned Tableau skills can be credited to downloading, dissecting, and reverse engineering the inspirational works she discovered on Tableau Public. Highlights of Emily’s Tableau journey include placing 10th in the 2020 Iron Viz Qualifier with her entry, “All By Myself?” and being a Featured Tableau Public Author in July 2021. Emily would later repeat placing in the Top 10 for the 2022 Iron Viz with her entry, “Color Studies,” an analytical deep dive on the color distribution found in photographer, Chelsea Pineda’s live music photography series. “Color Studies” later earned Emily’s first Tableau Viz of the Day honor.
